We are delighted to announce that the winner of the Save the Curzon Soho Film Treatment competition is Ed Edwards with his #CurseforCurzon film and viral proposal.
Judging the competition, filmmaker Ben Blaine praised Ed's idea for being fun, interactive and attention-grabbing.
Curzon, Shooting People and the Save the Soho group will now support Ed in the making of the film which will screen across Curzon Soho features and online.

SOHO IS UNDER THREAT
Curzon Soho is an icon of independent cinema in London and has recently been declared a 'surface of interest' by Transport for London, meaning that the much loved cinema could be destroyed to make way for Crossrail 2 developments.

Curzon Cinemas and Shooting People joined forces to launch a new competition aimed at supporting new filmmaking talent. The competition asked new filmmakers to submit a treatment for a ninety second film to be made by the winning filmmaker and screened across Curzon venues and online to highlight the proposed plans to close Curzon Soho.
