Julieta competition

With Pedro Almodóvar’s new film Julieta released in our cinemas this week, we've got a special bundle of prizes for three lucky winners.

Adapted from three, interrelated short stories by Nobel prize winner Alice Munro (‘Chance’, ‘Soon’ and ‘Silence’), Julieta is the story of a teacher played by Emma Suárez and Adriana Ugarte (as adult and young Julieta respectively).

After the death of her father, Julieta's daughter Antía, aged 18, inexplicably runs away from home. Twelve years later, in an attempt to reconnect with her, Julieta writes a long letter to explain family and personal secrets, trying to figure out destiny, guilt and the unfathomable mystery that leads some people to abandon those they love.

The prize consists of:

  • A poster of Julieta signed by Pedro Almodóvar
  • A copy of the DVD Box Set Pedro Almodóvar: The Ultimate Collection (The Skin I Live In; Broken Embraces; Volver; Bad Education; Talk to Her; All About My Mother; Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down!)

  • A copy of Alice Munro's book of short stories Runaway

For a chance to win, simply answer the following question:

Before playing the part of Marian in Julieta, Rossy de Palma appeared in a number of films by Pedro Almodóvar: can you name one?

Enter the competition on twitter by tweeting @CurzonCinemas using #JulietaFilm, or email win@curzon.com with "Julieta" in the subject line.

Winners will be selected and contacted on 2 September.

Good luck!

Julieta plays at Curzon Cinemas across the UK from Friday 26 August.
