FILMMAKERS OF THE WORLD UNITE AND TAKE OVER.
Join a very special film club that brings you the best new independent releases for a fiver on a Friday morning.
Just in case you needed another reason to love cinema. Or matinees. Or Fridays.
What is CURZON FILMMAKERS CLUB?
First rule of Filmmakers Club is you do not talk about Filmmakers Club. OH WAIT. Curzon Filmmakers Club is a series of specially priced screenings accessible to people who work in the film industry. We screen the best independent films on their opening Friday. Filmmakers Club meets at 11am at Curzon Soho.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
The screenings are £5 only. You get to see the best new independent releases in the company of like-minded individuals. The Curzon Soho cafe is open for you to hang out before and after the film for networking and socialising. And a damn fine cup of coffee, of course.
WHO CAN JOIN?
Directors, producers, DPs, editors, screenwriters, film bloggers, runners, actors, musicians, PR magicians and technical wizards: if you are one of the people who make cinema happen you’re in. Anybody who is training, starting out, or professionally involved in film is eligible to join. We will need to see evidence of your status and role so we’re asking you to submit a link to your website, showreel, LinkedIn, Shooting People profile, or similar proof. We will take a look at it and contact you to confirm your enrolment. We may ask you some further questions if necessary. Hope that's ok.
IS IT FREE?
Joining the Filmmakers Club is free. Tickets for the screenings are £5 each.
WHAT KIND OF FILMS ARE YOU SCREENING?
We'll screen one of the new independent films released on the day. A schedule for the upcoming weeks is available below. Follow @CurzonCinemas on twitter for more.

9 March - You Were Never Really Here
16 March - The Square
23 March - Unsane (TBC)

ALL SCREENINGS START AT 11AM
HOW DO I BOOK TICKETS FOR THE SCREENINGS?
At present you can buy tickets in person at Curzon Soho. You pay £5 at the box office on the day, so please arrive a little earlier to get your tickets. If you want to buy tickets in advance, we usually put the films on sale when they are announced on this page. Follow @CurzonCinemas on twitter to be the first to know.
UPDATE: we have teamed up with usheru to trial online booking. Keep an eye on your registered email to receive weekly links to book your tickets in advance. Only a few tickets are available for online booking so if you can't get them don't worry - there will be plenty on the door.
PLEASE NOTE: tickets are for members only.
SOUNDS AWESOME. HOW DO I JOIN?
Simply apply below and collect your membership card in person at Curzon Soho on Filmmaker Club days once your application has been accepted.
Want to bring friends along? They are more than welcome, but they must be members, so all the same eligibility criteria will apply (i.e. your mates need to be filmmakers). Unfortunately, if they are not eligible we cannot let you bring a guest to Filmmakers Club screenings. If your friends are filmmakers do help us spread the word: you can all join the Club and enjoy our bargain matinees together.
See YOU on Friday at Curzon Soho. #Filmmakersclub @CurzonCinemas
THE SMALL PRINT
We will contact you to confirm your registration, so please keep an eye on the email you provided. Please note this is not an automated process so it may take a little while.
