The Graduate

"What are you going to do when you graduate?" You might be a few years away from this question, but inevitably it finds us all. Recent graduate Ben (the young Dustin Hoffman - a legendary Hollywood actor in one of the roles that would come to define his career) is frittering the summer after graduation away when he becomes embroiled in an affair with a married woman twice his age. Shortly after, he falls in love with her daughter and discovers what he really wants from life. Featuring iconic music from Simon & Garfunkel and one of the greatest closing sequences in cinema, The Graduate is a film all students should watch before their final year's up.
