30 films turning 30 years old, re-imagined by 30 artists. This December, we're delighted to be teaming with the passionate folk at AMP (Alternative Movie Posters) to host their brilliant 30X30: 1987 exhibition.

30X30: 1987

30X30: 1987 is an art exhibition celebrating 30 incredible films turning 30 years old this year, re-imagined by 30 incredible, hand-picked artists. 1987 was an amazing year for movie lovers and this exhibition celebrates their collective 30th anniversaries with truly amazing art from the Alternative Movie Poster community.

“Here at, we are massive movie fans and passionately believe in the alternative movie poster art form. The Alternative Movie Poster community of artists and movie art fans is now in the millions of users a month; so it would seem a lot of people share that passion with us. With our first London exhibition*, 30x30:1987, we are looking forward to sharing this incredibly passionate and talented community of creator with the people of London!”
– Simon Hawes, Founder, Alternative Movie Posters

You can preview the posters in the gallery above, each brilliant and imaginative works by some very talented people. But nothing beats seeing them up close and personal in our Soho gallery space. The artworks are on display in the lower level of Curzon Soho from December 11th until January 3rd. It's free to view, so come along over the Christmas holidays to take a look at the collection.

See you there!

*The 30x30: 1987 exhibition was previously held at the 5th Base Gallery
